IBPS PO Eligibility

 Institute of Banking Personnel Selection ( IBPS ) has given a notification for the recruitment of Probationary Officer (PO) / Management Trainee (MT) - XI vacancies for the year 2022-23.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection ( IBPS ) ELIGIBILITY :

• It is conducting Common Written Examination (CRP PO/MT) for the post in the Public Sector banks which will be conducted online. The details of the Eligibility was given below ; 

A candidate must be either

• Citizen of India or
• a subject of Nepal or  
• a subject of Bhutan or 
• a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
• a person of Indian Origin who have migrated from Pakistan, Burma.  Sri lanka,  East African countries of Kenya,  Uganda the United Republic of Tanzania ( formerly Zanzibar ), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India providing that candidate belonging to categories ii, iii, iv and v above Shall be a  person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the government of India. 

Age limit  : 

• Minimum age 20 years and Maximum age 30 years (as on 01-10-2021)
• That is a candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-10-1991 and not later than 01-10-2001 (both dates inclusive ).
• Age relaxation is admissible for SC / ST / OBC / PH / Ex - servicemen candidates as per rules.

Relaxation of Upper age Limit :

• Scheduled caste /  Scheduled Tribes :  5 years
• other backward classes( non creamy layer)  :3 years
• persons with disabilities :  10 years 
• Ex- servicemen, commissioned officers including emergency commissioned officers ( ECOs) / Short Service Commission officers (SSCOs) who have been aimed at least five years Military Service and have been released on completion of assessment (including those who assignment is due to be completed within the stipulated time) otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct are in efficiency or physical disability attributable to military services or Invaildment : 5 yrs 
• persons affected by 1984 riots : 5 years 

Eligibility : 

• A degree (graduation ) in any discipline from a University recognized by the government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized  as such by the Central Government.

• The Candidate must possess valid mark-sheet or Degree Certificate that he / she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in graduation while registering online.

Note : All the education qualifications mentioned should be from University / Institution / board recognised by government of India / approved by government regulatory bodies and the result should be have been declared on or before 04-09-2018.
